DRAFT PROFILE

TIER B

Number 10 of 22 on our preseason board, in tier B alongside 5 other players.

That is a bet on how many points Joe is worth to a fantasy roster, which is not the same bet as who wins. Points come from missions, shields, surviving the Round Table and calling a Traitor correctly, so a loud player who gets banished in episode six can outscore a quiet one who reaches the end.

Ranked before the premiere, from the cast announcement and nothing else. Nobody involved has seen a frame of the season.

BEFORE THEY PLAYED
Wanted the cloak

Joe asked for the cloak before filming. That is appetite, not an assignment: casting decides, and plenty who campaign for it spend the season Faithful. What it does tell you is that Joe arrived willing to lie, which is the harder half to fake, and that a Faithful Joe is a player whose instincts point the wrong way at every Round Table.

What they told the cameras before filming, not a spoiler and not a prediction. Casting decides who wears the cloak.

IN THE CASTLE

A shared age, home state or trade is the first shortcut a Round Table reaches for.

Counted from the twenty-two announced players, not from anything that has happened. The season has not started.

FUN FACTS

  • A funeral director from Long Island by day, Joe was one of the first two players Alan tapped for the Traitors.

    Backstory
    EP 1

BIO

A funeral director from Wantagh, New York, with a professional background almost purpose-built for this format. "I've spent my career having discussions in emotionally charged situations," he says. "I'm trained to keep my composure if things get heated." His plan has a very specific escape clause: "My strategy is to be as truthful as possible, until I don't have to be." Nobody else in the castle has spent that many hours staying level while other people come apart.

🎯 FANTASY TAKE

The most on-theme occupation in the cast and the most quotable. A funeral director is professionally unbothered by the thing the show is built on, which is either a strong Traitor cover or a very easy accusation to make. Expect the job to come up at the table by episode three.

STRATEGY

Expect them to be unreadable at breakfast, which is exactly what gets people named.
