WHERE THEY STANDEP 4

Went nuclear at the table with 'four days' of evidence on Katie, who really is a Traitor. Right read, loud delivery, and now the turret's obvious next murder.

Jay Puts Four Days of Evidence on Katie

He stood up and called Katie a Traitor with a case he'd been building for days. He was completely right.

The Clock Chimes Before a Second Vote

The second Round Table ran out before a vote. Katie survived the most accurate accusation of the season on a technicality of the clock.

DRAFT PROFILE

TIER A

Number 5 of 22 on our preseason board, in tier A alongside 3 other players.

That is a bet on how many points Jay is worth to a fantasy roster, which is not the same bet as who wins. Points come from missions, shields, surviving the Round Table and calling a Traitor correctly, so a loud player who gets banished in episode six can outscore a quiet one who reaches the end.

Ranked before the premiere, from the cast announcement and nothing else. Nobody involved has seen a frame of the season.

BEFORE THEY PLAYED
Wanted the cloak

Jay asked for the cloak before filming. That is appetite, not an assignment: casting decides, and plenty who campaign for it spend the season Faithful. What it does tell you is that Jay arrived willing to lie, which is the harder half to fake, and that a Faithful Jay is a player whose instincts point the wrong way at every Round Table.

What they told the cameras before filming, not a spoiler and not a prediction. Casting decides who wears the cloak.

IN THE CASTLE

A shared age, home state or trade is the first shortcut a Round Table reaches for.

Counted from the twenty-two announced players, not from anything that has happened. The season has not started.

FUN FACTS

  • Sat on his case for days, then dropped 'four days' of evidence on Katie at the Round Table, correctly calling her a Traitor. The clock, not the room, is the only reason it didn't stick.

BIO

A physician from Oklahoma City, and the least coy person in the cast about what he came for. "I want to be a Traitor!" he says. "The show is called The Traitors!" Before the castle came military deployments to Afghanistan and Antarctica and emergency-room work through the COVID-19 pandemic, and he told The Oklahoman the patients who trust him with secrets are the skill he is bringing. Medicine is a career of delivering hard information calmly to people who do not want to hear it, which is a transferable skill in a game about being believed.

🎯 FANTASY TAKE

Physicians are trained to say a difficult thing in a level voice, which is indistinguishable from lying well. Whichever role they draw, they will be believed longer than they should be. That is the most valuable and most dangerous trait in this format.

STRATEGY

Expect calm authority, and expect the table to circle them once it notices.
